Description

The vintage styling is what dates this Peora ring in the best sense, and the large created black fire opal is what holds your eye once you look closer. Against the dark body of the stone, the play of color looks like it comes from somewhere deep inside rather than off the surface.

The ring is made from 925 sterling silver, set with an opal, colored black overall, and cut in US size 8 for women.

Opal is softer than most stones used in rings, so this one belongs off the hand for gardening, gym sessions and dishwashing. Clean it with a barely damp cloth and dry it right away. Skip ultrasonic cleaners and steam entirely, since both can crack an opal, and store it away from harder stones that would scratch the surface.
