Description
The case, bezel and band on this G-Shock are dark charcoal gray resin, with the G-Shock and Protection lettering molded into the front in black. The color sits on the dial alone, a metallic rose gold face carrying applied rose gold markers and white hands. A small sub-dial at nine o'clock holds a day hand, and a digital window fills the lower right of the face.
The case measures 42.9 mm and is molded from resin, as is the band that follows it. The movement is analog-digital quartz, driving the hands and the digital display together. The bezel is lettered adjust, light, mode and start beside the four pushers. The manufacturer lists it as GMAS2100MD1A.
The scaled-down octagonal case suits a smaller wrist, and the gray keeps the rose gold to an accent rather than a full metallic watch. Resin cleans up with a damp cloth, and the band stays flexible longer if the watch is kept out of a hot car and out of long direct sun.
