Description

This is the smaller G-Shock silhouette, and the stepped case is wrapped in a rose gold-tone metal shell carrying the G-SHOCK and PROTECTION lettering. The dial behind it is the same rose gold tone, with layered rings, slim pale-tipped hands and a black digital window at the lower right. The band is plain black resin with no color on it.

The display is analog-digital and runs on a quartz movement, with the digital window showing large time digits and a smaller readout beside them. The bezel is printed with mode, adjust, split-reset, start-stop and forward labels around four pushers, and the dial is marked WR 20BAR and SHOCK RESIST.

It suits casual clothes, the gym or travel, and the rose gold shell keeps it dressier than the all-black versions of the same case. Wipe the case and band with a damp cloth and then a dry one, since dust settles into the stepped edges and around the pushers.
