Description
The photograph shows a single round wristwatch on a plain background, with no packaging and no second item. The bezel is gold-tone with scalloped notches around its outer edge, and it holds a black insert. At the top the insert carries a white triangle enclosing an open circle; clockwise from there it is printed with the numerals 05, 10, 15, 30 and 45, and the six remaining five-minute positions each carry a long white bar. A track of fine ticks runs across the insert only between the triangle and the 15 numeral; from 15 clockwise back round to the triangle the insert carries nothing but those numerals and bars. Inside the bezel the dial is black, edged by a thin gray ring with its own white minute-tick track that does run the whole way round. Three gold-tone hands are fitted: an hour hand and a longer minute hand, each with a pale inlay down the center, and a thin third hand whose pointed leaf-shaped tip also carries a pale inlay which in this photograph lies across the marker at the 7 o'clock position. Twelve hour positions are marked. Eight of them, at 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, 10 and 11, carry clear round stones in round gold-tone settings, and up close these show radiating facets. The 12, 3, 6 and 9 positions carry clear rectangular stones in gold-tone rectangular frames, each showing a flat top face inside an angled surround. No stone type and no cut is claimed for any of the twelve. A grooved gold-tone crown sits on the right-hand side of the case, level with the 3 marker.
The printing on the dial can be read directly in the images. "FOSSIL" appears below the 12 marker. Below the center there is an oval swirl emblem, then "WATER RESISTANT" with "100 M / 330 FT" beneath it, and either side of the 6 marker the dial reads "JAPAN" and "MOVT". The word "Blue" sits in the model name, but it is not describing the dial: the dial shown is black. The bracelet is a three-row link design, the two outer rows silver-tone and showing a fine linear grain, the center row gold-tone and smooth enough to reflect like a mirror. It is at its widest where it meets the case and narrows as it runs away from the case in both directions. Both ends stop inside the picture, finishing in a squared-off end rather than running out of frame, so the bracelet is shown only partway and the clasp is not pictured; nothing is claimed about it here. Only the front of the watch is photographed, so no case back and no hallmark is visible anywhere, and the case and bracelet material is not stated.
This is a women's watch, per the model reference, and it suits a buyer who wants a black-dialled three-hand watch on a bracelet that mixes two finishes rather than carrying one. The "100 M / 330 FT" figure is the manufacturer's own marking printed on the dial and is reproduced here as it appears, not as a measurement we have made. As a general care note for a finish like the one shown here, wipe the watch with a soft dry cloth, keep perfume, hairspray and lotion off it, dry it thoroughly if it does get wet, leave the crown pushed in rather than turning or pulling it while the watch is damp, and store it dry and apart from other pieces.
