Three pieces are shown: a pendant on a fine cable chain and a pair of lever-back earrings. Each red stone is a heart cut in a deep raspberry red held by four prongs. On the earrings a clear heart-cut stone of the same size sits directly above the red one, so each earring carries two stones, not one.

The pendant sits in an open teardrop frame, and the curved bail above it is set with a short line of small clear stones. The earring mounts are cut away at the back in an openwork scroll. The metal is bright white throughout and the chain is a plain cable pattern. Rhodolite is a natural garnet and is normally clean to the eye, which is why these stones show no visible inclusions.

It suits someone who wants one warm color repeated from neckline to ear. Garnet is reasonably hard but the settings are fine, so take the set off before cleaning or gardening and wipe it with a soft dry cloth.
