Description

Three pieces are shown: a pendant on a fine cable chain and a pair of lever-back earrings. Each green stone is a heart cut in a deep, even green, held by four prongs. On the earrings a second heart-cut stone in clear white sits directly above the green one and is the same size, so each earring reads as two stones rather than one.

The pendant hangs in an open teardrop frame, and the curved bail above it is set with a short line of small clear stones. The earring mounts are cut away at the back in an openwork scroll. All the metal is bright white and the chain is a plain cable pattern. Gem Stone King names the green stone in this design a simulated (nano) emerald rather than a mined gem, and the green here is uniform and free of the inclusions a natural emerald of this size would show.

It suits someone who wants a strong block of color in a matching set without paying mined-gem prices. Keep the pieces away from heat and household cleaners, and wipe them with a soft dry cloth after wearing.
