Description

This OLEVS keeps the palette narrow. A black dial sits behind the crystal with the steel case and bracelet framing it, and the contrast between the dark face and the bright metal is what carries the whole design.

Timekeeping comes from a quartz movement, so there is nothing to wind. Steel makes up the case and the linked band alike, holding the watch to one material from clasp to bezel. The black dial hides fingerprints and small marks better than a pale face does, which shows over a long season of wear.

It works for someone who wants a plain watch that pairs with most of a closet and asks for no attention. Treat it as an everyday piece rather than a swimming companion, and run a dry cloth along the links whenever they start to look dull.
