Description

Silpada's Boardwalk bracelet runs a row of aquamarine through a silver link chain, so the pale blue stones break up the metal at regular intervals. The color is soft rather than saturated, closer to sea glass than to a deep blue gemstone.

The bracelet is made in sterling silver, the 925 alloy, and the stones are aquamarine. It measures 7.5 inches, which suits a medium to slightly larger wrist, and the overall color of the metal is silver. It is cut for women.

Aquamarine is softer than a diamond, so take the bracelet off before gardening, cleaning, or anything that involves grit. Sterling silver darkens over time with air and skin oils; a silver polishing cloth brings the shine back, and storing the bracelet in a closed pouch slows the tarnish down.
