Description
A gold-tone band ring built from a run of round discs that overlap and meet edge to edge, five of them across the front. Three of the five carry a smiley face: two short oval eyes and a wide curved grin. The two discs between them stay plain, and every surface is a warm yellow gold-tone with a mirror-bright polish.
The discs run straight into one another, so there are no separate shoulders, no setting and no stones, and the outer edge follows the circles, staying wavy rather than forming a straight rim. The eyes and mouths are recessed grooves, darker and less reflective than the polished surface around them. No hallmark, stamp or maker's mark is visible on the front of the band, the brand name is not marked on the ring itself, and the material is not stated by the manufacturer. No size is stated either.
