Description

Each earring holds a pearl inside an openwork cage, so the stone shows through the gaps in the metal as the drop turns. The cage gives the pair more presence than a plain pearl stud while keeping the pearl itself at the center of attention.

The metalwork carries an 18K gold plated finish, and the stone held inside each cage is a pearl. Barzel catalogs the design as model ER308.

The warm plating and the soft luster of the pearl read well in evening light, and the pair works just as easily with a blouse at the office.
