Description

A matching necklace and pair of drop earrings, each built around an elephant cut out in openwork filigree. The pierced pattern lets light pass through the animal shape, so the pieces look lighter than their size suggests.

All three pieces carry an 18K gold plated finish in a warm yellow tone, applied across the front and back of each elephant. The earrings hang as drops, and the pendant repeats the same cutout design on a chain.

Wear the two together for a coordinated look, or split them up and pair the earrings with a plain chain. Elephants are a common good-luck motif, which makes the set an easy gift. Gold plating wears thinnest at contact points, so put the pieces on after hairspray and lotion, and wipe them with a dry cloth before they go back in the box.
