Description
The case and bracelet are two-tone: brushed silver outer links flank polished gold-tone center links, and the crown and the two pushers on the right side are gold-tone as well. A ring of small clear crystals runs around the gold-tone bezel. The dial is silver-gray with a textured center, a gold Roman numeral at twelve, gold markers around the rest of the ring and gold hands.
The case measures 38 mm across, and both case and link bracelet are stainless steel, with the gold tone applied as plating. Three recessed sub-dials sit at ten, two and six for the chronograph, and a date window is cut in at four thirty. Timex lists the piece as TW2V57700JI.
It fits someone who wants more on the dial than three hands without moving to a heavy sport watch, and the mixed metals sit comfortably next to both silver and gold rings. Steel links collect dust at the joints, so an occasional wipe with a dry cloth keeps the bracelet moving smoothly.
