Summary: payments are processed by Shopify Payments on a PCI DSS Level 1 certified platform over an encrypted connection. We never see or store your full card number.
1. Accepted payment methods
Payments are processed by Shopify Payments. The methods available are shown at checkout and typically include major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover) and express wallets such as Shop Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay on supported devices. All prices and charges are in US dollars.
2. When you are charged
Your payment is taken when you place your order. If any item cannot be shipped, we refund it in full to your original payment method.
3. Security
- Every page and the checkout are served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection.
- Card details are entered on Shopify's secure checkout and sent directly to the payment network. We only see the card type and the last four digits.
- Every order is screened for fraud by Shopify Payments. We may occasionally e-mail you to confirm details before shipping, but we will never ask for your full card number or a password.
4. Sales tax
Sales tax, where it applies, is calculated at checkout from your delivery address and shown before you pay. There are no import duties.
5. Refunds
Refunds are made to the card or wallet used at checkout, within 5 business days of a return arriving. Banks usually take 5–10 business days to show the refund.
6. Questions or unrecognised charges
If you see a charge you do not recognise, please e-mail support@jouelanity.com before contacting your bank – we can usually explain it quickly.
