Description

A set of five silver-tone bangles made to one design. Each band carries a stepped zigzag along part of its circuit — a run of square-cornered rises and drops — and runs plain for the rest. The finish is matte rather than mirror-bright, with gray speckling and darker patches across all five.

Each bangle is a flat strip that runs into its zigzag section without a join, seam or solder line, and the strips are solid rather than pierced. Nothing is set into or applied to them: no stones, no beads, no charms. Each is a closed loop, with no clasp, hinge or catch. No engraving, hallmark or stamp appears on any of the five, and the metal is not stated by the manufacturer — silver-tone describes the color of the finish.

Five bangles of one design arrive together, which suits a buyer who wants a matched stack rather than pieces bought separately; laid together, the zigzag sections sit offset rather than lining up, so the peaks of one band run alongside the valleys of the next.
